FAQ: Why are volunteers so important?
Father responds: “As you know, my little sheeps, a parish our size can not simply expect a staff to do all the work for you. Even with the fact that some staff members may be earning up to $21, 000 per year, (a generous salary reserved for only the most experienced by the way!) it is still up to you to help us keep up the good work that the Pope, Bishop and I need done. Without your constant labor we would of course have to close our doors, and I would hate to not be 'serving' as your Pastor and also have to move away from the fine golf courses in Scottsdale. So, please respond generously to the calls for your 'stewardship' of your time. Oh, and Gerino has advised me that no one has volunteered for our annual fund raising dinner this year. This important ministry needs your help. Please volunteer. Mr. Mo says it only takes about fifteen hours per week."
